I just don't think there is a market for both. Best bet would be a downsized and much lighter challenger, though with Fiat with would probably only be offered with turbo 4 and 6 cylinder engines (though a 3600 pound Challenger with a 400+ HP twin turbo 6 wouldn't be too bad LOL). And then leave the charger the fullsize coupe. I actually like the current Charger, in SRT-8, Daytona and 07+ Road and Track trim anyways.

That Charger concept is a sharp concept, but its basically a Challenger with a body kit...

Besides, they make that instead of the Challenger and they have a million people wanting the challenger instead... its not a winning battle..

Hahah, the Challenger is a Charger with a body kit!

I think it'd be brilliant. Same under structure just different bodies. Design costs and build costs would be minimal. Might just work!

I love it. It's an 07, Vista Blue, 5 spd.

I like the interior, it has an old school look to it. I was happy with the stock performance. 300hp doesn't seem like alot, but the car is lighter than the Camaro and Challenger. Of course I modded mine. Cold Air Intake, dyno tune, and exhaust (Long tubes, O/R H-pipe, aftermarket mufflers). Cams are next. It's a blast to drive.

I was quite happy with the sound of the exhaust after I modded it. The 2V Mustangs just sound better than the 3V ones, but I do get alot of compliments about my exhaust.

I think both would be equally important. The way a car feels is what you actually experience. However, having an engineering background I'm also a numbers guy so I like to know what the numbers are.

I'd personally rather have more torque than anything, since that's what pins you to the seat. 500/500 would be perfect in my eyes for a street car.
Well from a performance standpoint, what you feel doesn't really matter, considering you need to have the lighter car by weight and not by what you feel is heavier or lighter. But from driving experience, that would probably be more important than it's true numbers. Torque is where it's at, my brother's duramax makes around 900 ft/lb of torque to the wheels, and it definitely makes you head fly back.

Now had it been this...well...

I would have bought this before a camaro if they released that. The Charger will always be THE muscle car in my eyes, or they were until Dodge released those 4 door sedans with the charger name on them.

No idea what the Go-Car effect is, but who cares how fast a car is if it doesn't feel fast?

Well I meant to put Go-Cart effect. And the Go-Cart effect is what can usually be applied to cars such as the Evo. It's light, small, and feels very fast. But I guess the latter question is nothing but opinion.

The most fun I've ever had in a Car was in a Mini Cooper S.

Well in defense of the EVO it IS very fast.. maybe not in the 1/4 mile but around a track the thing hauls...

True, but that just makes the car more special when you do finally find one. Im sure there will be a few on autotrader/ebay at any given time
