The poor Challenger guys have resorted to reporting the latest crash test data in a last gasp effort to find tiny details of how the Challenger beats the Camaro (since they can't beat them at the track).

It's sad, the Challenger is an awesome car, too bad they can't sell them.

Hell yes. That would be great! We did a meet and greet in williamsburg a few months ago. It was awsome. I would love to make people drule with 10 Challengers and 10 Camaros.....You name the date and we will be there in full force

I am a Moderator on a Challenger forum and I dont stand for and trashing of the Camaro....Maybe the Mustang from time to time...lol I run a more mature forum...Hell we just hit 3K members the other day, so it is much smaller than this forum. I am truly upset that a few idiots have started to give us a bad reputation in the BowTie comunity. You can bench race the two cars all day long, but the bottom line is that we have 4 Camaro SS's here in town that I am aware of. We have raced at the track several times. The winner is who ever gets the better launch. I dont care what motortrend, auto week....ect says. There is one Challenger forum in particular that has a bunch of idiot fan boys...That is not my forum. I go on Challenger cruises all the time and would love to link up and cruise with you guys as well. Its all American muscle anyways right
Right on brother! I'm also a member of the same Challenger forum as Dave and agree with him all the way. Muscle cars rock, regardless of whether it's a Challenger, Camaro, Mustang, Cuda, Chevelle, Charger, Vette, etc... Why all the hostility? We're all in this for the same thing: bad ass cars. I was close to buying a Camaro, ended up with a Challenger. If I could afford it right now, I'd have both! If I can just get the wife to go along with selling the Suburban...

Muscle car owners are a brotherhood. Squabbling over who's car is faster is silly: I could put a crate engine and a supercharger in my "stock" Challenger and run around 1200 hp or more. Same with any other car. As for racing, I'd avoid the "street drags", the results could be catastrophic, keep it on the track. Wave at each other, give a thumbs up and enjoy your ride.

Could not agree with you more but challengertalk (NOTSURE=moderator) has banned people for nothing. I believe the administrator/owner of the website has more websites than that one. So if he’s letting moderators ban people, than maybe he’s doing the same on other sites. I hope the muscle car community stays together as a hole and has brand rivalry like it always has. “Just like football teams” gotta back your team but enjoy the rivalry.

I know we are pretty tollerant. I'll be honest. Most of the time we just miss the threads where it gets out of hand and don't get involved until it's too late to hand out any warnings.

So please let us know if things go off track.

Just to clarify

the forum Dave and I are on is not challengertalk. Ours is much more tolerant, mature and fair. I haven't been on challengertalk but I've heard things about it much like what has been stated here. I too hope the muscle car community stays together and I agree: back your team and enjoy the rivalry. Some people just get too caught up in it, like parents at their kids football game. Silly.

Agreed, maybe we should just do away with this thread, I don't want to start a war or point fingers and I'm ready to let by gones be by gones.
