I am using this thread to educate myself because everything on the internet is true.

I think I read once that Honda and Toyota have a little windshield wiper nozzle on the dash that squirts opium in your eyes. Thats why Honda and Toyo owners are repeat buyers, they're too high to care about the shift knob coming off in your hands or whatever- nothing at all to do with them running good.

LAWJIK IS FER LUZERZ!

Everyone needs to get off the crack.

FACT: There are A LOT of really cool cars on the face of the planet. The IS-F is among them.
FACT: Performance numbers are NOT the only way to rank a car. The IS-F has generally good performance, but it's also very sophisticated. Having the IS-F's level of refinement plus generally good performance makes it more expensive. Other cars may match or exceed the performance of the IS-F for less, but they aren't as luxurious. This is the way life is.
FACT: Toyota makes good, generally reliable cars. (so does Honda). You can post some stupid recall or breakdown story, but there are still a ton of older Lexi and Camry's on the road.
FACT: Everyone has a anecdote about an unreliable car from some brand or another- that doesn't make that brand unreliable (statistics>anecdotes).

Once you accept these facts, then you will enjoy the bright lights and loud pop which is the sensation of your head coming out of your ass.

A tick over 13.0 sec. and you're through the quarter-mile. It's a rush, of course, but not overly dramatic. Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."

It’s funny how people are judging a car they have never driven or never seen before. but they can call it crap because of what they seen on paper. You should never judge something by its cover. A lot of people are really showing their ignorance right now. next you will be saying a Camaro can beat a Bugatti Veyron or a GTR. Some people just need to get out their high horse and come to realize that America doesn’t always make the best cars.

Enjoy, used prices on them are very reasonable. I'd opt for an M3 or C63 myself but it's by no means a bad car.

I don't know, I just think that if you work for the company, you should at least help support it. Driving another automaker's product is almost like saying you don't have confidence in the company.

Then again, very few people share my train of thought these days...just look around on the roads...
how about the company having confidence in the costumers and shipping his car on time.

The M3's were still in the 55 range for used 2008's and I wanted a V8 so I could not go any older.

The ISF was a very good buy at your price, but the M3 strikes me as very overpriced for what it is. BMW spent a ton of money to develop an engine only to have it make as much as power as the 10 year old S62 in the E39 M5 and then put it in a car that weighs 300 pounds more than the outgoing E46 M3 and can't even point to better fuel economy.
