I honestly can't see the fins winning this game. If they do I will agree the jets are out of the playoffs!

I still love miami.Nothing is as intimidating as a dolphin!

to tell you the truth, I wouldn't put money on miami to win either.

i think this will be a low scoring game. defense that plays the best, will win.

and dolphins can beat sharks, so i'd be worried.

All smack talking aside, I actually think those pics are hilarious. Oh and in reality the JetBlue JETS plane touches down in miami quite frequently!

I disagree - it's his left shoulder hitting Lee in the chest. But, we'll have to wait and see what the NFL says...
Jerry Jones is apparently pitching a fit. Jerry Jones pitched a fit and got the rule about making sure a fresh, dry ball is used for field goals after Romo's famous blunder last time he was in Seattle. Maybe this time the rule about blocks will change and we'll all be watching flag football starting next week....

i'm pretty impartial to both teams, and it's clearly a spear...to the head region.

Are you serious? His helmet is buried into his chest and in his chin, he's not leading with his shoulder. What makes it a penalty is the fact that he lowered his head and led with his helmet and popped him with the crown of his helmet. I hate the Cowboys and I'm happy when they lose but the penalty here couldn't be more obvious.

Look, according to the rules as they stand now, it was a penalty.

Even Lee himself said that his head didn't hurt...and that he just couldn't breathe (ie: getting hit in the chest).

Most of the hit WAS with the left shoulder. If you watch the video replays on this (and I have), Tate's head twists right. If he had only hit with his helmet, he would have broken his neck. When you get knocked in the chest like that, your head is going to whip forward. Was there contact with the helmet & chin at that point? Yes, but I still say it was very incidental contact to the head ESPECIALLY considering Lee's comment after the game.

It was a VERY hard hit, but unlike other true helmet to helmet hits...this was nothing. It just looked spectacular because of the decleat and sudden change of direction by Lee.

If you watch the replay from all angles that were shown, Tate does get his left shoulderpad under Lee's right armpit.

Point is, 6 months ago, this was a textbook hit. And, as we wussify football even more we are going in the direction of this:

fun fact...

Miami hasn't allowed an opposing running back to crack 100 yards in 16 straight games, the NFL's longest current streak. about to make it 17 straight weeks.
