If you're a Vikings fan, you should have fun watching the Seahawks this year too - Jackson and Rice are going to add a lot, I think.... Oh, and the 2nd pre-season game is vs. the Viking in Seattle on 8/20, 7pm Pacific Time...

Permanent "INK," no less . Now that's a fan!. I just checked the schedule on NFL.COM. Doesn't look like that preseason game will be broadcast - at least not live. I assume you'll be there, live and in living color?

I'm letting my stepson have my ticket to that game. We always let him go to one preseason (our section is too rowdy during the regular season, he just turned 13, maybe in a couple of years...). The other home preseason game is vs the Raiders, I'm not missing that one!

My husband's friends and work buddies all think he has the coolest wife ever - I watch the scouting combine, and the draft, never miss a home game (regular season anyway), have the ink, AND drive a Camaro!!
I'm waaaaaaaaay cooler than their wives!

I'm posting this here 'cause I know my old fart friends won't laugh at me....


Yesterday, when I was driving to the Seahawks practice, I heard a rattle... My stepson looked at me like "Uh-oh, the car's gonna die". I turned down the radio, and listened closely. Every time we hit a bump, the rattle was really loud. It sounded like it was on the passenger side somewhere.... I slowed down, and we were trying to pinpoint where it was coming from. I looked at all the gauges, checked the DIC - nothing weird, except a reallly loud rattle. I said, "I guess I go to the dealer right after practice..." Then my stepson pointed at the dash just as the rattle got really loud again. Ladybug had just had the A/C worked on, I thought maybe that was the problem... Then a lightbulb moment.... I told him to open the glovebox and take out the front license plate. Next bump, no rattle! LOL! I would have felt really stupid taking her to the dealership for that! My stepson and I are now master mechanics....
