Much Awaited Stephanie Update, At Least I Think You Wanted to Know.
Ok well we have gotten hit with several things that I had not mentioned before now. A couple of weeks ago she was hurting bad and could hardly lay in bed let alone walk. We took her in for test and organ sonogram. We everything seem ok EXCEPT for the fact she has no ovaries or uterurs. Now we knew chemo had a chance of messing her up with having kids but did not know it would be this bad.
So Stephie did not know about any of this until today meeting with her Cancer docs. They did say the will start female hormone treatments to see if they can get things to move along in a couple more months when her counts come back up. Steph did ask the doctor even if the treatment did not make it so she could have kids, would it make her boobs get bigger faster? Thats my Steph. Any way some more test planned out over the next couple of months and then her port comes out in June. So there is the update. Scott |

Thanks for the updates Scott...
I will continue to pray for Steph and all of you, as you are all hurting when your little girl Steph is hurting... I've said it before and will say it again - cancer affects the entire family, not just the patient, and that is why I pray for ALL of you... Hmmmmmmmm................. Well, regardless of the child bearing thing, it's good news that there is no obvious reoccurance to this point. Let's pray for for her to have the motherly opportunity but more importantly, stay free of the illness.

i will pray for her.i can relate.i have gone thru three different cancers myself.one thing i might relay to you.if she is on radiation,be careful.what the doctors don't tell you is that radiation may cause cancer on down the road and it really screws your inside up.when i had my bladder cancer,two surgeons told me it was probably caused from radiation.anyway keep us posted.tell her we are all pulling for her.god bless.
