Good Morning Old Farts, is everyone out east and in the midwest sleeping in today? Us Southwesties are usually the last on in the morning.

WAKE UP! It's almost Friday

(Dang, I really like that HOT PINK - might have to do all my posts like that.)

Mornin' Pete. Nope, no relation, but I do like the song, especially the versions by Wilson Pickett and Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels. I go by HotRod for short, to minimze confusion with that pony-car...ummm person.

Morning everyone! I took the ladies out to dinner and the theatre last night. One was my sweet bride. The second was my mother-in-law, who is an absolute angel. If I were able to choose from all the women on earth which one I wanted to be my mother-in-law I would have to choose her. She is the best. The third is a really good friend. My wife and I have known her and her husband since somewhere around 1975 or 76. He passed away about 2 years ago from prostate cancer. She was diagnosed just a couple of weeks ago with breast cancer. They did a "lumpectomy" and she starts radiation treatment next week I think. I got to go out with 3 really sweet women last night. What a lucky guy.

Have been following/lurking this thread for awhile and only posted a few times. Never thought to ask. How old do you have to be to be considered an old fart and join the club?

Actually, no age limits on either end my friend. Just a desire to have fun.

I'm 43 & Jay (Lightning) says I'm too young... I look & think young, but I'm falling apart, so I must be old...

One of the fleet of loaner cars got returned this morning, so I ended up with a Malibu 4 door automatic. Yuck.
I guess I was supposed to get a couple recall notices in the mail, but didn't... So all of you need to get to your dealer & get a wiring harness fixed, and the AC reprogrammed if you haven't already!
Jay, the service tech fixed the grounding issue on the scanner for me... they said the engine bolt is a bad spot! I will send you a pic of how they did it when I go pick Ladybug up after work!

I remember 43. That was the age that I got divorced, lost everything, but managed to find out who I really am, and what I will or not put up with anymore from anyone.

See with age does come wisdom, but also a lot of other things I did not have when I was 43.

44 here...yup you learn alot by the 40's some good some not so good. Definitely seems to be an age to reevaluate your life and yup stuff falls apart. Hence the need for the car to make us all feel younger.

I've said this before.... I'll say it again. You don't get recall notices in the mail for anything that isn't a safety issue. So, you just have to keep up with the TSR's yourself. I got my wiring harness fixed and the retaining nuts on the spoiler fixed some time ago. I still need to get the console display date reprogram thing done and the A/C. And yes please send that pic.

Folks, I'm 60. And that makes most of y'all too young! hahahaha. I think young, but my body won't respond like it used to. And I'm only teasing LadyBugsMom about her age and being too young. Like I said in my earlier post - any age is welcome here - you just have to bring your own Depends and Geritol!
