you know..... you dont have to give physical gifts for christmas. tell your kids they should be thankful for the time of year and reflect upon the choices they've made.

Keyword here is "supposedly," but...damn.
I just checked the Holden website, the 1.8L Cruze auto is supposed to get 7.5L/100 km (combined) which works out to 31 mpg, but under the epa ratings the same car are 27 mpg combined. Also, the current 3.0L V6 Commodore is listed as 9.1 L/100 km (26 mpg) combined.

So if the 28 combined is from the Aussies, with their rating system, it would likely equate to something around 24 combined in the US, which is still very good. Also, who did the L/100 km to mpg conversion? If it was an Aussie, I expect that it is in imperial gallons, not US gallons. The difference is good for 20% or so. That could bring the total down to 20 mpg, which is worse than the V6 Camaro (but roughly on par with the G8 V6)
