All things considered, I'm fine as a misty rain....waiting for my next visit to the doc to see what is to be seen...

Probably surgery, but time will tell...

For those as yet uninformed, I was injured at work on, or should I say under the rig in Brazil... three of us were changing the tow bridle on the starboard (right) forward pontoon of the rig when a freak wave hit us and blew us off the pontoon, into the sea... Two of us went under the rig, not a good place to be, and the third guy went out in front of the rig... He is fine, and still at work... the guy that ended up under the rig with me has two herniated disc in his lower back, and I am looking at my 7th knee surgery on my left knee, all new injury areas of course... And some time on the beach prior to going back to work...

At times, Cut Off and I were shoved 20-30 feet underwater after getting bashed on the head by ten and twenty foot in diameter steel transverse and cross tubes ( a good place to get hit in my case) and then having to swim back up in very aerated water, which provides very little buoyancy... It sucked really bad, but in the grand scheme of things, I'm well, and very happy to be alive... The good Lord was watching out for us that day... One week ago today, and the day after my 10 th anniversary of marriage to my beautiful wife...

Well, after all is said and done sounds like it's a blessing you're still with the living. Very glad to hear that. I'll bet your lovely bride is glad you're still around too. Hope your knee surgery works out OK. Stop in and see us more often man. We miss ya here. Keep us informed on how the knee is doing, OK? God bless.

Yeah, those knee injuries are a problem when it comes to driving... BUT, you're alive, and you'll be able to drive her again! Take care, heal fast, and congrats on your anniversary!

Called my dealership today to make an appointment for Ladybug - she's due for an oil change (and I get them free for life at my dealership ), the left side of her spoiler is loose (old TSB finally came to haunt us on a long road trip....), and the clips holding the leather on the driver seat came loose when I was dying her stitching ....
Still under warranty, I get a loaner car... When I called, the guy in the service department asked me to call back in the afternoon to see if any loaners had been returned - we may have to reschedule.
So, I called when I got off work. He said no loaners had been returned, so I said "Well, you can always loan me the convertible Hennessy that's on the showroom floor" He didn't say yes, but he did say we would "work something out" and to bring her in at 7:30am tomorrow anyway...

Wonder what kind of loaner I'm gonna get???? I would say pray for the Hennessy for me (a convertible would be nice - forecast is for a sunny 76 degrees!), but I might get another ticket....

A loaner vert is way better than the bare naked HHR I got from my dealer when I took my car in for window tinting. At least it had wheels . Don't you just hate having to drop you car off for service!?! Especially great cars like ours....Good luck

Last time I had a bare-naked Malibu... I won't be getting one of the "usual" loaners, though, none had been returned as of 5:30pm.... Hmmmmm - an Equinox would be good too - been debating getting one, so having it for more than a test drive would be good... I'll post pics if it's something good!!!
