Wrestling is a form of entertainment. It is both, inflicting pain and acting. A good wrestler makes it appear a butt whooping is taking place. But at the same time, there is pain involved. There is NO padding under that mat. There is 2x12x16's..and when you get thrown or body slammed onto that... it freaking hurts. Punches do make contact, and mistakes happen, as there is a risk of serious injury involved. If you don't land right, miss a mark, turn the wrong way during a move, you can get very injured.

I broke a guys ankle giving him a suplex, just because he landed wrong.

Your body takes some serious abuse during a match, so yes, it hurts, and some of that 'acting' that it hurts, is not acting. Moving from being a fan, to actually being in the ring, gave me a whole lot more respect of those guys and the things they do.

Picture it like this, climb an 8 ft ladder, jump off and land on the ground, on your side, like you were giving a flying elbow. When you are brave enough to do that, knowing it's going to knock the wind out of you, and chance of cracking/breaking ribs... and you do it because you want to over and over again.... you may want to become a pro wrestler. Matches are not scripted either, it's too fluid and too much going on. So you have to be quick reacting, and fluid to make it look smooth and be entertaining.

I thoroughly enjoy it, not because of the hard work and abuse my body takes, but the kids, say 13 and younger, LOVE IT and the wrestlers. When I come out or finish a match, or during an intermission, the kids flock to me like moth to a flame. They love that persona, that wrestler work, and being able to muscle people, throw them around and just the look. I get swamped by kids for autographs, pictures and everything else... they are awesome, and I don't take that for granted. I know I am performing for entertainment, their entertainment and I get a lot of enjoyment from that.

Hope that helps a little

Sounds fun, I just legitimately knew nothing about it lol. A lot of my younger cousins are into it. I'm more into UFC. Met Randy Couture on the beach in Hawaii a few years ago.

So I'm also doing a LS9 cam with the blower just to squeeze those few extra ponies out.

Oh and to get rid of the stupid single bolt cam, ls3 tensioner (going to ls2 damper) and to upgrade the trunions and springs.
