That is an average of 15K miles a year for the past 20 years. I put a little more than that on my DD every year

For seven of the 19+ years I had a 110mi round-trip commute, so I racked up the miles pretty quickly for a while. It was a real five days a week. I've only put 16Kmi on it since Feb 2011, and only about 6K since getting the Camaro in Feb '12.

Yea daily I drive about 40 miles so it adds up to almost 200 miles a week for me which I would say is about average for most. I am pretty much all city driving though. The cruze sometimes goes on road trips but most of the time we just rent a car

I still drive the truck on long trips - so far it hasn't left me stranded. Though I had a harrowing 350 mi drive back from the Outer Banks of NC when the transmission was slipping unbelievably. Luckily it was late at night with light traffic because it took a looooooooong time to get up to speed when coming off an on-ramp. And hills - talk about a nail biter... Other than the tranny, the radiator, fuel pump, and a couple of brake boosters; I haven't had much other than the regular wear items go out. No complaints here.

Yea for a while my dad had a 97 BMW 318i that he partially restored. He got the car pretty cheap from a co worker and decided to have a little fun with it. Bought all new brakes, shocks, rims, tires, replaced several engine components (like pumps and sensors nothing internal) and that thing went strong. He drove the piss out of it for 2 years and then decided to sell it. That BMW was a great car and how it went 12+ years on the stock clutch (120K) after me burning the heck out of it while learning is beyond me

Minus ten points for inappropriate meme usage.

I'll let you calculate how many you have now.

So can somebody recommend a tablet(Not buying an iPad nor can you convince me to buy one) or a net book? I need to stop using my iPhone so much bc my battery life is starting to decline. My fault.

Nexus 7 without a doubt. Head and shoulders above the competition , and cheap.

Personally I would look at the Nexus 7. It's a smaller sized tablet and for its price it's one if the best you can get in my opinion. They start at 230 For the 16 Gb version and then I think it's 280 for the 32 Gb version. When my iPad craps out in a few months that will be what I buy.
