After watching the Big10 teams in their bowl games......Longhorns would of had 12 wins in the Big10!!!

That is the way I would vote....all about how a team played from start to finish. LSU has been #1 all year, it would take the Tide beating LSU by more 14 before I would change my vote!

No, the Cornsuckers got sick of getting their A$$ kicked by UT and others in the Big12 and took their Football to another sandbox to play, and they still can't win the big game. Big10 will be back...long road!!

We won 2 out 3 of the big ones.
MICHIGAN over VT (VT was ranked higher)
MICH, ST over Georgia
And Wisconsin lost in a good game to the Ducks

Ohio ST and Penn ST had Big issues this year.
Nebraska Coming off the Big 12 Championship Game from last year also had a hard time in there Bowl and in the Big 10

The Big 12 (10) has its own issues . Now which team will leave.


Texas 12 wins in the Big10!!! Not this year.

I agree with PQ... Why play the game? Co-champion... REALLY?!?! They need to fix this crap.

NFL has "Rankings" but it does not matter when it comes to the Super bowl.... It should be the same in college.

Right. And you can feel that way.

BUT, that's why college football will never be as big as the NFL on a national scale.

The Patriots went into the 2007 season SuperBowl 18-0 and the Giants went in 13-6.

Pats were 16-0 regular season with the 16th win beating those same Giants to drop the Giants to 10-6 to finish the season.

Giants beat the Pats in an epic and close game in the SuperBowl.

NOBODY thought anything about it. The Giants were champs. Period.

That game is special for THAT very reason.

Me and Bonnie are going bowling on our normal night for the BCS game. I had planned on pre-bowling and going to a buddies house but the AP voters made it clear, the game really doesn't mean much. So why watch?

It is like when LSU had a 2 loss season but won the BCS National Championship game. AP voters made it a split NC.

In my mind whomever wins Monday will be the Champ...just as PQ indicated regular season didn't mean anything when the Patriots lost in the Superbowl.

It should be a good game...I really think the offenses will do more or the defenses and special teams will score a bunch.

I remember years ago that this same thing came up....Ap, UPI, Coaches,and whomever else voted and had there own national championship team each year....kinda the reason they came up with the BCS....it just needs some tweaking in my opinion...maybe top 8 or a plus one.
