Off topic, but what do you guys normally order when you go out to eat while still trying to eat semi healthy? (non cheat)
Don't be misled into thinking you will stop loosing fat by starting on a weight lifting program. I am pretty confident that you will still see a steady pace of fat loss and at the same time build some muscle as well. As long as you keep up a good nurition plan you can do both and in fact you will burn more fat as you build muscle. I am not suggesting bulking and cutting, I am suggesting cutting.

Eating out is actually easy. I will often ordered grilled chicken with a vegetable and potato, there are usually healthy choices on most menus you just have to look for them the key is to ask your server to put any sauses or dressings on the side, that is where the cals usually are. If your meal comes with a sause or salad with dressing you can scrape it off or eat around it. You can also do the same thing with a cut of steak. Once the food is served you don't have to eat it all, portion control as always.

If you're talking fast food...

Carl's Jr/Hardee's offer a turkey burger that's under 500 calories (less if you aske them to hold the mayo).

KFC has grilled chicken sandwiches that aren't too bad

Chik-fila... most anything on their menu besides fries. As always be careful of how much cheese or mayo.

Taco Bell has a fresca menu. 3 fresca tacos are under 500 calories.

McDonalds only has decent breakfast. Egg McMuffins are 300 calories each (just the egg/cheese/muffin)

For out at Restraunts, like CFD said, most chicken items are fine. If you have the option of salad, ask for dressing on the side, and get oil or vinigarette instead of ranch. If you feel like steak, sirloin is a very lean cut, and a lot of places have started serving sweet potato. Opt for that, with some green veggies. Broccolli being my favorite And almost all places have a "under 700 calorie section". What you REALLY need to be careful of, is the free crap some of those places bring you. I can't stress how bad for you the breadsticks are at Olive Garden (about 300 calories each IIRC). Free chips and salsa can be pretty devistating too! And always substitute fries for veggies if you can

So over the last 2 weeks I have lost only about a pound and a half. Doesn't sound like a lot right? HOWEVER, taking my measurements this morning, I have lost 1/2" off my waistline! Just to compare "weight loss" to fat loss

Ok tried the pre/post workout:

Pre Workout: I made banana poppers. Cut up a banana into 20 slices, 1 tbs natty pb and 1 tbs lite cool whip. Mixed the pb and cw together, placed that on 10 banana slices then topped it with the other slices and some cinnamon. Froze for an hour. Had a few poppers 20 minutes before my lift.

Post Workout: 2 scoops whey protein. Half low carb wrap and boiled egg white.

Keep up the good work. I start well myself but in the future as soon as I start eating this bad thing and that bad thing I gain back the weight quick.

A good diet has to become a religion otherwise sooner or later you loose only one thing> all the hard work you put in to it. I got down to 192 lbs 3 days ago from 228 I was April 1st. The last couple of days we have been bbq'n and eating kinda bad and I already gained 4 lbs right back. This was that I still go on walks everyday. It's going to have to be a sacrifice for life if I want to stay thin. My goal is 185 lbs but now I have 11 lbs to go instead of only 7 like last week. :(

I got back on track today.

good job! yeah it is a lifestyle change, sometimes after i go out to eat and i splurge ive gained up to 4 pounds the next morning but i know a lot of it has to do with a lotta sodium and retaining a lot of fluid from all the soda lol but i have limited myself a lot. I use to go out to eat and cheat 1 time a week, usually friday nights so i could use the weekend to work it off. But now i only try to limit it to celebrations, so i have not had my big cheat meal yet this month. That will be May 27th and damn am i looking fwd to it lol so now on the weekends i try my own creations and make guilt free cheats, stuff that is really tasty but yet i know it hasnt sabotaged my diet, usually try to keep it no more than 300 cal

Hey there, Yes I've been absent! Been busy! Just competed last weekend and this was a great experience, i feel I brought my best yet to the stage! 15 ladies and it was just top 3 placings, and i didn't make top 3, I really don't feel bad at all about it though, everyone looked fantastic! The other ladies that didn't place could have won at other shows easily! Here is a pic of a few of us on stage and all the ladies in this pic are on the Bombshell Team!
Woop woop!!! I compete again June 22nd and excited to accomplish more improvements!
