Well, a win is a win!!! One thing for sure, Longhorn Defense will be a true force next year!!! If we can get the QB going...maybe, just maybe.

Michigan linemen Will Heininger, Nathan Brink likely out for Sugar Bowl

Heininger injured a foot during practice last Thursday and is not expected to practice for several days, and backup Brink will not play after getting "beat up a little bit" in practice, coach Brady Hoke said.

Texas looked pretty impressive on defense...kinda reminded me of another one I know It looks like Mack Brown is going back to the power running game and great defenses....hmmmmmm Sounds like an SEC team. I think Ash will do well with a little more experience...that swapping QB crap usually doesn't work out well for either QB and once David gets more reps and sees more game action he will be a good one....He looked alot more comfortable last night than it games past. That #2 is a beast running back.

The guy wearing number 2 was Cody Johnson. He's a senior. He was wearing Fozzy Whittaker's jersey number like several other players have for the last handful of games this season in honor of Fozzy because he had a season-ending knee injury. Fozzy is also a senior.

But, coming back next year at Running Back we've got D.J. Monroe who is quick, Malcolm Brown who is a strong north-south runner, and Joe Bergeron who looks like another bowling ball that will somewhat replace Cody Johnson's role.

Not to mention we have a 5-star recruit coming in next year at running back named Jonathan Gray

Well too bad he is a senior , he played lights out, he is a load.....You definitely have some talent at RB........Alabama will have 4 competing next year if Trent doesn't come back but "Rumors" have him coming back beause he wants to graduate...I don't believe that though.

imo this win means a lot for this team. We lose 3 big guys on the defense however we are stacked in recent years of recruiting.

This years class has some Very talented Wr's coming in a long with a QB that Brian harsin has recruited since 2008 while he was at Boise. ( finally a 4star QB who runs his type of offense )
I see Ash playing next year again while we redshirt connon brewer.
With a year under stacy sereals the line has gotten better and with Burgeron and brown both coming back as sophmores ( runningback ) we are bringing in the all time best runningback out of the state of Texas Johnathan grey watch out thats all I can say. I see this kid taking the wildcat formation and dominating it.

This was a very very young team this year so now as we start to get older and keep bringing in recruits maybe we can get back to where we were.

IMO going into the offseason on a win is big for a team like this....... Even if it was the holiday bowl.

I have never seen a game like this - one HUGE play after another!! Really? 49-46 with 6 minutes left in the THIRD quarter?? Never expected the UW huskies to hold their own vs. Baylor at all, much less have a score like that... WOW!

That wasn't a football game....that wasn't even a good 7 on 7 game........the defenses in this game were non-existant. 1, 2 and 3 play 80 yd drives back to back to back just shows you that neither had a defense at all.

That's not true. They both had defenses. I saw them. 11 guys from each squad were out there every time the other team had the ball.

They didn't do a very good job of stopping anyone, but they were there.

The game was only 2 points shy of tying the FBS record for combined points in a Bowl game. The funny thing is, that 125-point record was set in a game that went into multiple overtimes. The 123 points scored in the game last night were all done in regulation, no overtimes.

The game completely blew away the record for combined total yards of offense in a Bowl Game.

It was certainly fun to watch considering I had nothing vested in either team...

I thought it was a fun game.... Another interesting stat - RGIII only had 295 passing yards (out of 777 total offense).

IMO griffin is one of the most accurate qb's to come out in awhile. The kid has strength to throw a ball on one foot 60 yards. Closest thing to mike Vick you will see.

Both teams defenses didn't show up however it doesn't matter griffin Made great defenses look silly all year.

A lot of folks won't give Baylor a chance as they are a school you don't hear of often in football. But what u saw is what you would get with griffin at qb.

Now go to the nfl

By the way how about gannway the rb lol kid was on fire
