The eccentric bolt on the subframe (driver's side), cannot be taken out because it hits the gas tank. So the subframe has to be dropped an inch or two

Are you sure? I was looking at mine and mine won't contact the gas tank. It'll be close but I should be able to do it without touching the subframe

I'm sure. Any which way I twisted my oem toe link it would NOT come out. But I do remember reading in some threads where not everybody had to do this.

I thought the bolt would slip out but the bolt is longer than you think

I'll have to get under and look. Still need to figure out why I hear a popping sound coming from my rear whenever I hit a bump...it's weird that it isn't consistent.

How is that even possible though haha if they are mass produced. Either way with my luck I will have to drop the subframe
