Really? Call 911? I bet they would chew you out for wasting their time.

I can see it now. Victim: "HELP!!! I HAVE A LOW FLYING CRAFT FLYING IN MY BACKYARD!!!!"

911 Operator: "GET THE HELL OFF THE PHONE BEFORE I HAVE YOU ARRESTED!"

Yes, that or the police.

If someone is stupid enough to be flying IN someone elses back yard and low, then that craft is flying dangerously, and yes...I would call police as well as track the craft back to the owner. Film it if possible too with your cellphone. Go after the pilot, either asking him to not fly IN your backyard again, or file a report with the police.

Here's the thing. Most drone pilots won't be doing this. Those that do need to be reported and stopped.

This is true. No one I know would do it.

Just got an email from a friend.......and entered the drone zone!

Is this a mosquito?
No. It's a robotic insect spy drone for urban areas,
already in production, funded by the US Government and built by a private technology company.
It can be remotely controlled and is equipped with a camera, a microphone, and micro syringe.
It can land on you, and it has the potential to take a DNA sample, inject a substance,
or leave RFID tracking nanotechnology in or on your skin.
It can fly through an open window, or it can attach to your clothing until you take it in your home.

Check this out..... An underwater drone with live video. Very cool. Kind of expensive though.

I really need to get something nicer with a better camera.

I took this video at a park near where I work on Friday. Kinda sketchy flying over water. The camera almost doubles the flying weight. Makes it a little difficult to recover from a moderate descent. And the slightest breeze knocks it all over the place.

I did see they are training eagles to take down this type of drone. It was cool to watch the eagle attack and disable a drone like it was a small bird.

I suppose it would be for good for quick response to any possible threats in certain air space.

I`m more concerned with some twisted, unstable idiot running around in a crowd with a gun in their hand than a gun mounted on a unstable drone platform. The bigger fear is the thought of using a drone to carry explosives and don`t think that hasn`t already crossed some lunatics warped mind already.
