I recently (over two months ago) decided I was going to quit smoking as well. I got a prescription for chantix and started taking it. My quit date was approaching and I realized the chantix wasn't helping as much as I thought it should. I talked to a friend about this, and she told me about the book that she read to help her quit smoking. Figuring I needed more help to quit, I bought the book. I finished it in less than a day, forcing myself to read it all on my "quit date." After reading the book, I took two more chantix pills and realized I didn't need it anymore. I have since been completely smoke free. I passed the book onto my roommate. He finished the book in two days and has been smokefree. I gave the book to my mom and she has been smokefree for over a month. My sister bought the book (she lives a few hours away) and quit smoking as well. The original friend of mine quit smoking and has been that way for over 6 years. I have three other friends who recently quit smoking as well.

I completely doubted the ability of this book when I first heard about it, but without a doubt is the only thing that has ever helped me quit smoking. The name of the book (and the best $15 you will ever spend) is:

The Easy Way to Stop Smoking by Allen Carr. His website (which has a testimonial by Ashton Kutchner) is http://www.theeasywaytostopsmoking.com/

My biggest advice to anyone reading the book is to follow the directions he outlines.

My friend showed me the electronic cig. He loves it and hasnt really picked up a real pack of cigs in awhile. Plus you can pick your flavor.
I dont smoke cigarettes only cigars on occasion but i truid the e cig and yea it was like a cigarette (taste/feel/look) without the lingering smoke on the clothes....One of the bigger + to the e cig besides breathing in water vapor.

irpq you can do it! You got all of Camaro5.com behind you and your family. All it takes it you! You can do it just have to set your mind to it. Good luck and we are all counting on you!

Definately one that I'll be hoping she doesn't stumble across.

My dad and step mom quit smoking several years ago. The trick was an anti-depresant. My step mom was able to quit on the first try. My dad not so much. Second time though it worked. Of course he died from Lung Cancer anyway and now that it's Father's Day Sunday and he isn't here..........................................QUIT %^*&()_SMOKING ..............................and I miss him very much..........................

There, if that doesn't work I don't know what will.

Tough love, man, tough love.

Condolances bro. Hate to hear that. It must piss you off to see someone smoking now that you care for.

This is the kind of stuff I need to avoid. Thank you for sharing.

Really.

Seriously, it's not just a short term health issue. And I also know how hard it is. Sometimes it seems like I grew up in a pool hall instead of a home. Many years ago I was having dinner with my Dad and counted 22 cigarettes WHILE eating dinner.

I really wish you luck, and I mean that. Your success will just simply add years to your life that Bonnie and your family will cherish.

oh, one other thing... envy touched on it already.

Chantix. Emily used that regularly when she first quit. and when a craving would strike up, she would take one and it would eliminate her craving. worth a shot.

We're all behind you! I call the people around me who smoke nicatards. Everytime you think about a cigarette, think about 10,000 Camaro5 users calling you a nicatard.

Njoy is okay, but I've been using eCigs for over 6 months now and tried a number of models. So far the best i've found for vapor and reliablility is the Yeti aka JOYE 510 aka Janty Dura.
