Yeah If only Sparano had a back bone. Watching the fins game yesterday and the fins are down 2 scores with 6 minutes lefts and it's 4th and 1 (granted it's on your own 30 something) but the game is essentially over if you punt even with the 3 time outs anyway. So you know this glasses wearing doofus is going to punt. The crowd is begging him to go for it (you know the 5 dolphin fans in the stand), I am praying for him to go for it and I am a jets fan..so finally he decides to go for it....,.(maybe he is changing?) he sends out a strong I set, now just snap the ball henne, wait they shift an go spread and now your waiting waiting waiting and now they have to burn a time out. Here comes the punt team okay fins give up game over back to onsided pats chargers game!

Actually, yes. Kurt Warner was a washed up nobody who wasn't good enough to play in the NFL. Or anywhere else for that matter. Had a slow start and then they clicked and the rest is history.

But the right coaches with the right players can come together. The 1991 Redskins with Mark Rypien, 1994 Chargers with Stan Humphreys, the 1998 Bills with Doug Flutie (went 0-4 with Rob Johnson and Flutie came in and won 9 straight and into the playoffs) and so on and so on.............

These stories could never happen in college football.

on another note...wonder how many times the announcers will be mentioning the Pat's winning streak against the Bills, it's kind of like when they say " so & so hasn't fumbled the ball in blank carries...then his very next carry is a fumble.
not that I'm worried ....after all, it is the Bills

My team will avenge the Chargers.

I bet you are looking at this game a bit differently now than you have for a while.

Of course, we don't know what the Bills have exactly. Deductive reasoning would conclude that if Jason Cambell and the Raiders can run up 35 then TB and the Pats could score 50+. But as NFL fans you and I know it's not like college football where that type of deductive reasoning usually is acurate. Every game is different and teams match up differently and games are not predictable.

If the Bills can keep the ball away from Brady I think they have a good chance to win. Buffalo hasn't been scoring on the home run ball but driving the ball. So I doubt Tom Brady runs up much more than the Raiders did.

The cool thing is that if the Bills lose (and depending HOW they lose) they are still learning to play together. They can improve greatly during the season. They lost a LOT of close games last year. I think at one point they had lost 5 games by a combined total of 19 points. Including 3 OT losses. BUT....... the Pats usually just beat the shit out of them.

We'll see. I won't miss a snap. My expectations are low and hopes are high.

My son is just now learning. I told him the FSU OU game would be close and he just saw last years score in his head.

When it was 21-3 at halftime this passed week my son was ready to quit on them already. LMAO

He's a senior in HS and has a long way to go to 'Get it' when watching these games.

yeah, kind of like how they kept talking about brady's no INT streak during the dolphins game, and bam, INT.

I actually like the bills to win this week. Pats defense isn't that great (unless that pass rush gets it in gear) and the bills can move the ball. I wouldn't be surprised if they won, but pats are the pats so who knows.

I"m using it as a gauge for a slowly improving Bills team.

Sudden bouts of offense is common in the NFL and the Bills are put together to be just such a 'come and go' type offense.

Again, I hope for the bests, but don't expect it.

Me and my son already have our Pizza, beer, coke coupons ready.
