Interesting game for sure. Dissapointing, but the Canucks were the better team this year. Wifes hometown, so still have a team to root for!

they were my 3rd team. when the Red Wings got out, i looked for the Flyers but after their performance against the Bruins, they didnt deserve to move on

Shoud be real good. Vancouver has never won it and its been since 72 for the B's..
The passion in both cities is what its all about... Wish I could be there for a game.. saw the B's play Edmonton for the cup ( got smoked) but being out here it would have to be a road trip up north of about 8-10 hrs

I completely agree with that! I'm so pumped! Going with the Bruins, thought I won't mind either team winning. Caps were crushed in the second round and my dreams crushed with them. haha.

Bostons power play finally shows up and their offense gets in Luongos head early in the series. Meanwhile their defense overpowers the Sedins and company. Tim Thomas is a rock the whole series.

Boston in 6, Timmy gets the Conn Smythe.

I do agree for Boston to have a chance Thomas has to be Conn Smythe/Ken Dryden/Epic Playoff legend status.

I might be eating my words later in the series, but I would be shocked if Boston puts in more than 3 PP goals even if the series goes 7. The Lightning who have no where near the PK that Vancouver has kept them to minimal Power Play goals. Their Power Play just looked awful in the games I watched.

The lightning only had one great line to stop, and that worked out OK for Boston. But you cant have Chara/Seidenberg play head to head against Sedin^2/Burrows AND Kessler/Raymond/Higgins. As good as Chara/Seidenberg are, the bruins overall just aren't deep enough at the blue line to compete with 3 solid forward lines for the canucks.

Just my horribly biased opinion. GO CANUCKS GO!
