Is it bad I kinda don't want to leave Dallas?

I agree with you on this one. For clay lube I'll get some ONR and mix it a little stronger than what the bottle says for a little more slickness. But if I don't have that I'll get some Megs quick detail spray for cheap locally.

Probably, but I'd try and find a specific clay lube or something that is listed as a clay lube as well (or that it can be used as a clay lube). Check out AutoGeek or Detailed Image for some tips/product recommendations.

also don't buy Costco microfiber towels lol
