Yesturday i went with the G/f and a friend to take a look at both the Camaro, and new GT. Id say, seeing them both for the second time, I got a more balanced look.

Well to be fair, it was hard for me to focus on the Camaro, they had a brand new CTS-V sitting next to it in the showroom and that got 98% of my attention. If only i had 60k to spend...

But anyways, What really jumped out at me is how much bigger the Camaro is than the mustang.. The hood on the Camaro came up MUCH higher than the mustang, which made it appear to be a good deal bigger than it was. The Exterior of the Mustang has nothing on the Camaro, and the interior of the Camaro (3rd time ive seen it) is still a mess imo.

those .2 seconds will go away when ford finally updates those engines. hopefully that will happen soon

i dont remember where i heard it but some people are having trouble with their brakes on the 2010's (while at the track). so i probably would switch those out first ( brembo probably)

Gator I agreewitu your assesment but to me I like the exterior of the mustang alot even if the camaro has nice sheet metal to me it's about all of the package and like you and I have discussed the scale tips Mustang then at least for me

I will be getting some steeda UDP's this weekend, i dont go crazy with the mods i like my warranty, and i pull off my cai in 5 minutes for the dealer

not sure if they noticed the 4.10's yet

must be like "why did i just bark the tires i tapped the gas"

yeah i go to road courses every other month to race. thats why the mustang is winning me over, its more nimble.

I will also have them put the frpp short throw(hurst) if I don't like the stock. But so far I have heard no negatives on the stock shifter

I gotta disagree...if he plans to even drive the car "spiritedly", ultra-powerful brakes are going to save his life when he gets into a "spot"......I would know

and fwiw, a friend of mine strongly reccomends Baer. He claims his rotors from them lasted over 100,000 miles. I don't doubt him, this guy's been around the block more than once, if you get what I mean. The savings in that, he said, offset the initial sticker shock of their systems....and he continued to say that they DID save his life at one point...which made $4,000 seem like peanuts.
