+1 Windows down music cranked up very nice drive home. I saw 2 other 5th Gen Camaros on the way home crusing likewise.

First I got off work early. Then I went & test drove a Nisson Z just for fun. Then drove my Ruby home. I'm so glad it is Spring (and I don't care what the calendar says!).

Sounds like the weather's nice around the south. Left work, went to the gym, went home, cleaned up, got Red Hot out of the garage and cruised...beautiful Friday. Tomorrow's the "dry run" for the cruise. Going up to the North Georgia Mountains, "awesome Bill from Dawsonville" museum, maybe a winery, maybe some shopping, definitely sunroof open, windows down, music up!

"Dry run" cruise report:
200+ miles in 9.5 hours
Left around 9AM, scouted out a breakfast location and had breakfast.
Scouted out a good back road to the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame (better known as Thunder Road USA. They'll let us park in the Winner's Circle when we come tour....good photo op!
Ate lunch at the Dawsonville Pool Room, made locally famous by Bill Elliott "Awesome Bill from Dawsonville". Me and 200 bikers on a Poker Run
Drove up further into the mountains to Amicalola Falls State Park. Did a little trail walking and scouted out the route for my local car club. Beautiful mountain lodge, with a twisty, steep road. (Wonder if some of the older Fbodies can handle it)
Drove cross country to a local winery/vineyard and bought a bottle of wine. Decided I better not even try any, because those mountainous roads were full of curves and kinda narrow
Backtracked to the outlet mall, but couldn't find what I was looking for, plus the other million people there were a little overwhelming
Back home, highest temp my car showed was 87 degrees
Cleaned up and out to dinner with son and girlfriend, and 1 glass of wine
Home now, chillin out - Good day here in Georgia. Hope you all had a good day too.
