Very cool. I want to learn a few programming languages but just am unsure of where to begin really. I plan to start with C though since I will need that for a class next semester.

Definitely. Go with C#. That'll allow you to pretty much write anything.

Yea I was gonna do C because not only is that the root of other languages like Obj-C, C#, etc. but also because its needed for school. Might as well as kill two birds with one stone

I learned java first for a class in high school. I learned c until my freshman year in college. Definitely do c first. It's the basis for a lot. It was easy to learn c for me because I knew Java already but u could tell it was the starting point for a lot of languages
