was a good workout today. Hit 135 on my back squats, which is great for me. I don't have a personal trainer.

That's great. Always a good feeling when reaching new bests.

I haven't been in the gym for a while now. My shoulder is blown away. Finally broke down and went to see my doc, set up a few appointments with a physiatrist and physical therapist, first app. is tomorrow. I'm bummed because I've lost 1.5 inches on my arms and put a few on the waist. Started cutting cals last week as, much as I hate loosing muscle mass I hate adding body fat more, muscle gains and fat loss don't come easy at my age.

I'm not sure if the Applegate meat commercials are local or national but I find them humorous so I thought I'd share one.

Did you guys celebrate 4th of July in the gym too? I did so by putting on my US tank top and hitting abs and calves filled on carbs

Tomorrow is a new week, and I will start week 3 of 6 on my diet. Adding 40 minutes cardio to each day as well now... I am satisfied with the results so far after just 2 weeks but its time to pick up the phase a bit!

Thank you!

It's a tough diet and it's killing me! Had a cheatday on 4th of July though so I had everything from pancakes with whipped cream and jam, to a really nice stake and miiilk! God I love milk! Gaah already hungry again and I just ate... But now its all chicken, potatoes, rice and egg whites for another 6 days until I can have something else again :(

And now it gets a bit tougher too... Previous I've had one cheatday which means I can eat anything I want for one day and I don't have to bother about getting all right nutrition for that day. But starting from tomorrow I'll exchange that cheatday to just a cheatmeal per week for 2 weeks now. I'm assuming much better results from doing so as it will cut away some 3,000 kcal

Strong at 135. Probably have a 2x bw squat in you which for sure is good!

Form could for sure be better. When you are getting set up you should "erect" yourself so you are perpendicular to the floor. Tighten up. In the video you are bent at the waist and this is putting the weight over, or in front of the body. You are almost good morning'g the weight up.

Unlock your hips first and sit back. Knees are way out in front of your toes.
