How did you break your intake???
... there was a build thread where a head flow guru was modding the factory plastic one for better flow, interesting stuff.

I had an LS7 intake that was ported nicely but the throat was opened up very aggressively by a maniac with a rotary file to the point of it being paper thin and it just couldn't handle the stress anymore... :slice:
Its a shame too, it had a nice paint job on it

( how do you make the picture smaller so it doesn't explode the window?)

Cut your age in half and both halves would be old enough

I'm debating trying to fix it.. right now but I just bought the paint for the new one. The hole is on the side of the neck where the tube for the pcv goes in. Real tough spot to fix properly and taking this on and off is a 2 hr job not to mention the car runs like crap with a hole the size of a quarter in it close to where the map sensor sits...LOL

new paint job should be better... black sealer then galaxy gray on top and little apricot flake in a clear mid coat and then tangerine Kandy on top of that then cleared.... I'll document it in steps and post it up. I'm thinking of doing the whole car that same color eventually. Its black now.

There is no flake in this sample

(sometimes, procrastination is a good thing)

I love it! I don't like the Hood, or wheels, or interior, and it sounds like a truck, but the rest is OK

Well, its coming sooner than later. We just passed the mid-point of winter. The day-light hours are getting longer, and the temps are beginning to rise. Hang in there Lady.
