Dude, that was scary....never again...
I honestly don't like energy drinks, the only time I drink them is for finals. I just finished today, so no more for about 10-12 weeks.

SSMOKINHOT, I was also 19 years old when I was in the Marines going for days on end without sleep....I'm sure that helped as I don't think I could do that today.

I remember my muscles feeling fatigued but never sleepy. Ah, the joys of youth.
Sounds like that photo you posted will suffice.

Yea, I hate to admit it, but I am almost TWICE that age!!! Better show some that my old a$$ is out there running around in full up battle rattle! ROFLMAO!!

I have a very eclectic music collection, but for work outs, I mostly listen to hip hop/electronic because the beats just push me and keep me going this morning's cardio workout playlist consisted of the following artists: Pitbull, Jay-Z, LMFAO, Ludacris, Rihanna, Timbaland, Trey Songz, Usher, Lady GaGa, Kesha, Flo Rida, Black Eyed Peas, Chris Brown, Eminem, Ayria etc.

Hittin the weights tonight!

Well, I guess the time change finally caught up to me. I'm no spring chicken either SSMOKINHOT. I had trouble going to sleep all week, finally sacked out last night and never even heard my alarm this morning. I'm talking comatose.

Woke up late, decided to call in sick and get some much needed rest. Slept in till about 9:30 and STILL felt tired. Got up, had a scoop of protein with intentions of getting straight to the gym, then had some things come up.

Next thing I know it's 2pm and I'm just getting to the gym. Still on only 1 scoop of protein in my system that's long gone. I hate working out depleted like that but didn't have a choice if I was gonna get it done. Happy to report I pushed through and still managed to increase reps and weight a bit. Was blasted afterward though.

Hit the weights (legs and tris) then 30 mins or cardio. I felt REALLY funny and barely remember driving home.

So I busted out one of my favorite shake recipes:

1 banana
2 cups skim milk
1.5 scoop ON Pro Complex Protein
1tbsp honey
2 tbsp peanut butter
1/4 cup oats

In a blender blend until liquefied.

760 calories
75gr protein
80gr carbs

On a normal day I would have halved the amounts but today required desperate measures.

As for music I'm a hip hop / techno kinda guy for the gym. I have Pandora on my phone and set up a station for "Bass down low" by Dev and it just picks random music that's similar.

Thanks Beefcake! I have been really focusing on my upper body...my calves and quads have always been well defined from running marathons...but now that I see pics of my backside, looks like I need to focus more on the ol' derierre and hammies!

KAPOW SSMOKIN! Looking awesome!

I went to Mom's last night for dinner.....ugh. She said they were having smoked pork loin so I'm like ok cool

I get there and of course she made mac n' cheese, mashed potatoes, and garlic cheese bread "just for me".

I loaded my plate up on the pork, but here comes mom with the mashed potatoes. Ah well no biggie I just did a bit harder cardio this morning.

Was at 160lbs even this morning and 10.1% BF. All week I'd been in single digit body fat until eating at Mom's DUM DUM DUMMMMMM hahaha.

12/27/10 - 168.5 - 12.4%
1/10/11 - 166 - 12.1%
1/17/11 - 167 - 11.7%
1/24/11 - 167.5 - 12.2%
1/31/11 - 164.5 - 11.6%
2/7/11 - 163.5 - 11.2%
2/14/11 - 163 - 10.7%
2/21/11 - 165 - 11.2% (added back too many carbs - removed some also started thermogenic)
2/28/11 - 163.5 - 10.3%
3/7/11 - 163.5 - 10.6%
3/14/11 - 161 - 10.1% (carb pulse)
3/21/11 - 160 - 10.1% (carb pulse)

I'm gonna watch it close this week as on Thursday I'm flying out to TX to go with my buddy to run his car at the TX Mile. Should be a kick ass time, but I'm sure the local fare will be hot dogs and beer. Not sure what I'm gonna do out there to stay on track. He's shooting for getting his Challenger to do 185MPH in the mile....should be interesting.

Today's workout was awesome....all those carbs are good for something at least.

Chest/Biceps
Incline Dumb Bell - 85/85/85 - 10/8/7
Flat Dumb Bell - 70/70/70 - 10/9/8
Cable Fly - 30/30/30 10/9/8
Incline Dumb Bell Hammer Curl - 35/35/35 - 10/9/8
Incline Dumb Bell Curl - 35/35/35 - 10/10/9
Cable Finishing Curl - 25/25/25/20/20 - 10/9/8/10/10

35 mins heavy elliptical cardio (random on level 8)
