Yup. Spent 2 years in (West) Germany back in the early 80s. I got to where I could "sprinkle some Dutch" pretty good.

Not exactly, but I is a global trekker. We just came in to the country, back from France, last night. It seems like all is well.

The person below me has also been away from their usual residence for two months or more at a time?

Nope. Used to travel a good bit when working but now retirement lets me enjoy being home. Occasional short trips will come.

Person below is partial to Italian food.
