i just watched the original True Grit about six weeks ago. pretty good.
it's funny how the new cast kept saying how different the new one is, yet all the scenes i see in the trailer were in the original

The overall tone is different, but I read that the new one is more similar to the book.

Ford's new idea of an exterior MCE is apparently to take the lower grille of a car, flip it upside down, take the existing grille and move it down, then take the flipped lower grille and put that in place of the old existing grille.

Idiots. Way to ruin a great-looking front end.

Personally, I like that they changed it. Not because it looks better, but rather because I dislike Ford and enjoy seeing them falter.
