For the OP: Dude I knew a girl just like that. Fast cars made her nervous. No big thing. Theres tons of stuff to do besides...she'll come around.

Find out what she is interested in...(like music) and wwwaaaalllaaaa that CD just happens to be in the car.

Dude relax your 17 and we all go through that sort of thing when your that age. Find something you like doing and or a place you enjoy. The rest WILL take care of its self.

The car will draw people on its own because its a Camaro. Hang out and have fun with it.

I think you missed the punchline.

She offered to take you for a ride [in her car]... did you go with her?

Everytime your feeling down remember this one thing.... It could always be worse.

Your attitude can change alot, make up in your own mind that your not gonna let things get you down, and that your gonna be more outgoing and friendly or whatever you need to do and youll be suprised

Keep your head up
actually the way i think is that i wish i was in that situation rather than the mind state i'm in. in my mind the worse would only be better

Contrary to whatever crap you've been told by your genius buds, counseling and possibly medication has helped millions of people. The fact that you don't seem to have a "reason" for being bummed leads me to suspect clinical depression, which sure as hell can be treated.

In the meantime, try Googling forums that deal with your feelings and see where you end up. I always had a lot of problems socially, and specifically hated talking on the phone. One day 2 years ago, I Googled "phone phobic" and ended up on a site about people with Asperger's Syndrome, a high functioning form of autism. I stumbled upon hundreds of people with symptoms just like me! I took some tests and discovered I have it. In my case, there's no cure or medication, but just knowing what the "problem" is, and having people to talk to about it, has improved my life immeasureably.

Sure, maybe you're "just 17" and it'll all work out. Who cares? It can't hurt to find out why you feel like crap now, and do something about it now. Good luck, kid.

To whoever it was...no, not Ladiesman.
nope, no insurance and i dont got college funds either. i just lucked out and happened to run across enough money to buy my car.

Dude your 17 like me and there's no reason you should be depressed...YOU HAVE A 2010 CAMARO SS!!! Seriously just forget the girl, they come and they go. But if you don't want to keep the car, you know my garage door is always open....I mean hypothetically not literally, of course
