Since I havent been driving fbodies since 1998 please enlighten me and the rest of the world how the f&%k an ss is faster than a z28 in the 1/4 mile. I mean it only has the same engine, same cam, same heads, same trans, same intake, same tuning, same rear end. Please tell me how its a faster car?

I cant make this any clearer. ITS THE SAME CAR. Any variables in time comes from drivers. I.E. Same tune, same gears, same entire motor, same transmissions......SAME CAR.

Were the 4thgen SSs not hopped-up with SLP goodies?

I believe Fbodfather would challenge this idea that the SS is not faster than the Z28 on a track. Actually, I think he has once before on here...
