Go ahead pastor. I disagree with you strongly and so you insinuate I am an extremist hater. You have admited to supporting a bunch of people who are BREAKING THE LAW right now. And you somehow feel you are Paul and I'm an insensitive Roman. Your cause is just. And admirable, but I'll be damned if I let you try and make me into the enemy.
I didn't say anything about an organized plot. But as long as we do nothing and just talk about it, at least if I were an illegal, I'd LOVE it. Because nothing will be done and I can continue to break the law freely. And seriously, you can say undocumented all you want. They are ILLEGALS. They broke the law and have been breaking the law for ...... well.... 20+ years apperently. |

Hey guys I worked in Federal Law Enforcement for 23 years and there is plenty of laws on the books to stop the problem, but our elected official for the last 40 years have done nothing about it because they want cheap labor and people that are willing to do jobs that no American want to do. I feel very strongly that employers of illegals should get jail time, fines, close up there business for knowly hiring illegals. Have term limits for elected officials and get new blood & ideas to prevent the same vicious cycle. And yes you Zonies don't blame everything on California because we all share the blame no matter what state. Just venting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

in mild responses to indicate it's all good.I did not define you as the enemy. I objected to your defining "illegals" as the enemy. I have shared my opinion, my right as an American, and somehow in my expressing it you see Righteous Guy vs. the Infidel? Really? It's not black and white, it's muddy."Illegal" does not apply to most immigrants. They did not cross the border illegally and their staying here is a civil offense, not a criminal one. Many, despite being undocumented are given a chance by the current system to apply for legal status, while they are staying here "undocumented". The new Georgia law even has a provision to arrest people who harbor or aid illegals in staying here. Food kitchens? Homeless shelters? My teachers taking a group of kids on an outing? Catch is this: you have to know they are illegal. And guess what? They are only illegal if they have been declared illegal by the state. Guess that means they need to carry an illegal alien identity card, because I am am not an immigration enforcement officer and have no other way of knowing if they have been declared illegal by the state. That's how silly the law is, but it also illustrates that "illegal alien" is a political term that has nothing to do with a person's status. They are either documented or not. Whether they are remaining here illegally is something determined by a court. When 287(g) was implemented in my county, the stated goal was to facilitate the handling and possible deportation of criminal aliens (meaning: felonius). But now the local law enforcement, sworn to serve and protect, are being asked to detain and deport indiscriminantly. Bait and switch by elected state officials with no concerns for the impact on local communities. So what would you say to the "illegal" who came here at age 2, did nothing illegally on entering the country and has done nothing illegal to stay and has no criminal record, who now at age 20 is detained coming home from work one night and sent to ICE for deportation? Had that case last month. What do you say to him? Tough shit? Or maybe you question the indiscriminate implementation of a piss-poor law? Your friend, Padre

But why do the children worry bout coming home and Mom and Dad would not be there if Mom and Dad are not illegal? Maybe a criteria. 1. Be married and have children under 18. 2. Be a child under 18. 3. Be gainfully employed and paying taxes. All other get out or get legal. |

The dude came here at two and now he's twenty, and still illegal? Surely 18 years is long enough to at least get started with legalization.
why do so many avoid the process?
