311 is the best live act I've ever seen. The Roots are a close second.

I'd have to say:
The Headstones
Barstool Prophets
Pantera
Metallica

And judging from the videos I've seen (but never actually saw them live): Rage Against the Machine & Lamb of God

Someone did do a good job with that recording. That was a great concert tour. So is no one is going to see Roger Waters the Wall Tour? I know it probably won't be as good as seeing Pink Floyd but from what I have seen it still looks like it will be pretty good. Maybe I can capture a clip to share.

I love Roger Waters, but I'm not sure I'll go. I did go to the Radio K.A.O.S. tour years ago, and that was great...but his voice has really gone south, if you listen to the stuff he's done more recently such as Live 8. He always had a unique way of vocalizing...and was never truly a good singing voice...but his uniqueness combined with David Gilmour (who still has nice pipes) produced some amazing harmonization.

I had a hard enough time listening to David Lee Roth drunk at the Us Festival, not sure I want to put myself through something like that again

That could be true. We shall see. I bet it will still be a good show.

It was actually pretty good. So who is going to see the Who Quadropenhia? Mike & I got tickets today for the Nashville show in December. Should be a good show. What do you think?

I've seen dozens of bands from Alice Cooper to Zeppelin back in their prime (and mine too, I guess), but for pure musical and vocal perfection I'll have to say The Eagles were "the best" live band.

I saw Pink Floyd during their Dark Side of the Moon tour back in the 70s. I think I'll just keep that as my PF concert experience - it couldn't get better than that was.

Well me being a young buck I missed these guys in their prime, but i'm catching every one I can now. I really enjoyed Van Halen, Foreigner put on a hellofa show, Reo Speedwagon sounded amazing for an outside concert. I will say this I'm not the biggest Bob Seger fan but he can still sing really good. If you want a great show I would suggest seeing Trans-Siberian Orchestra, it will blow you mind.
