Hey man, to each their own. I like animals in general but I would be very pissed if our cat scratched my car. I keep a blanket over my car when it's in the garage though, less work and easier on my conscience than killing the cat.

Some people here are ridiculous.

If your dog decided that your wheel looked like a good place to "mark his territory," would you take it out back and shoot it? Or throw it into a river?

Give me a break people. They're animals. They don't know any better. Train them properly and they'll do what you want them to do.

Everyone needs to chill out, just about everyone here was joking about what they would do if a cat scrated there cars. Im sure alot of people here think of there cars as there baby's, as do I. If I had a cat "witch I dont" I wouldnt allow my cat in the garadge at all, One I live in Arizona and its 120 durring the day outside and I know that would kill anything or anyone because its alot hotter then that in a garadge. Two I do have a cover over my car, I leave the windows down about 3inches so I dont crack the leather. This hole thread was started as a joke, and some people like to play along. And some people want to take it all personal, and get defensive all over something that started out as a joke.

Losen up! This is a place where people come to and have a good time.

Anyway, I'm thinking about making that cat disappear, should I? If so, what's the easiest method? I have a .45 MP, but it's too loud and would make a mess. I could choke his azz, but I want it to be quick. Ideas?

Ideally I could do something just to make him run away; does the dry corn cob rub on it's butt followed by a squirt of turpentine work?

I don't find it funny in the least bit. I work in a profession where I see just how stupid people can be with their animals. Nothing about this amuses me anymore.

Well im sorry you have to work around stupid people, I guess you just need to join the club! Ive seen things you would never think was possible on a daily basis! Im sorry to say in my "profession" animals are not the only thing being killed or abused here! People, soldiers, & Afghanies woman & children both of all ages die on a daily basis here.

Im very sorry I find humor in a guy "pretending" he wants to do something to his wifes cat.

If anything is an inconvenience, just eliminate it. How pathetic. Lots of big bad a$$ talk against these animals. Yes I know alot of the posts are not serious, just something to poke fun at. Anyway, sprays, beds, scratching pads/posts spaying or neutering can help. Proud adopter of 3 strays and have found homes for countless others. It's not easy, but be responsible even if others are not. 18lb Maine Coon
