paid off our mortgage

well using the money from our pos mustang we paid off our mortgage last week.
we built a new house in 2007 and took on a 220 000 usd mortgage.
from that day we have paid over 1000 usd a month back plus interest.
friday we walked into our bank and paid off the final 100 000 usd balance .

we walked out of the bank feeling like lotto winners..me and my wife both earn good money and from now we will be living i great life.
right now we only have 20 000 usd in the bank so no camaro for me for a while.
so anyone else pay off their houses in 10 years?

i highly recomend it

I thought I was doing good when I paid off the Camaro.

PAID Off

Why would anybody brag about their personal financial situation to strangers on an internationally accessed forum?

As far as I know, only my wife, employer, creditors and the IRS knows my salary. As far as my mortgage, still got a long way to go.
Congrats OP.

Congrats!! I can't wait for the day I get to write the last check for my house. I know the title mod was the best mod I ever did to my car, so I'm sure the feeling of paying off the house has to be incredible!
