Funny thread.
To each their own... funny watching people get all riled up over their tail lights. Personally, I love both 10-13 and 14-15 styles. Both have some uniqueness to them and BOTH share in resembling the classics. I think Chevy did a great job mimicking the old 69's with the 10-13's, and then encompassing the full set of lights in the 14-15. Except for the center light which would just look odd this day and age (chevy probably thought), you can see where they got it from, when designing the initial 5th gens going into 2010. Both styles resemble classic Camaro's and both deserve respect for their beauty. ![]() |

This is way to easy. ...the guys that have the 14's and 15s like the tailights. ....the rest of us don't. .....I dont like the narrowed headlights either. And now that it's out that you can't get a model of those cars is further proof of how unpopular that refresh was. And course I'm kidding when I say those cars look better then my 2011. Nothing like being the uglier twin...just don't have a chance. OP seriously you can likely find another company that makes that model. Have you looked at the die cast collection. There are alot of nice choices I'm not positive but you may be able to find a copy of your car there. I found a 1/25 scale of my car in orange....of course I don't have those damn tailights.

I wish they made a 2014+ Camaro too, especially a Z28 version. The only hard part would be the trunk lid since that was molded with the body on the AMT kit. Everything else was a separate part in the model kit that could be easily changed including the lower rockers. However, they would have to invest money into changing the trunk lid on the body tooling.
However, at least they're making a 6th gen due out in late July. I plan on picking up a couple when they come out.☺ Last edited by The_Driver; 06-07-2016 at 02:27 PM. |
