Great pics! That's one big project. Luckily you got a helper, your son I'm guessing, and if so what a great father and son experience.

Now the only question remaining...... Which set of keys does he want???!!!

Thanks Normagene! I purchased the IROC to be a father / son project but I'm finding out that he doesn't like to get grease under his fingernails and goes AWOL when I need him.

I don't have many friends my age that can help me with a project this big so I'm just taking my time and doing as much as I can on the weekends.

I may let my son drive the IROC when I'm finished but the ZL1 is OFF LIMITS!!!

Another day another dollar. It was busy but home early & no homework.

Have not heard anything from my dad today. My sister tried to call but was put on hold & no one ever came back. we will try to hear from him later. Maybe things will have settled down some.

This was my 3rd Gen, and I miss it!

I sold this car and another before I moved to AZ. The Chevelle is the only old car I brought with me.

Two more days here in MD. Hung out with my sister tonight, we had a great time!

Good morning. I'm up a little earlier but it sure is hard for me. I just will never be a morning person. We are having a stretch of very pleasant weather days. Breakfast & coffee time now. HAGD

That's a beautiful IROC Rick!!! I'm sure you wish you had it back!

I had an 82-Z28 that was white with blue stripes and blue velour interior. I'll see if I can find a pic of it!

Whoo boy, that thing will be a beast when you get it done. Nice pics.

I'm with you Jan. We switched to four ten hour days and trying to get here at 7:00 is nearly impossible.............NOT a morning person

Is the ZL1 an auto or M6? If a stick, have you tried out the No Lift Shift feature? Crazy fun, although brain difficult to do, it's just not normal to keep it floored and push in the clutch. Love the sound of the Supercharger being kept at peak!

I still haven't been able to go around a turn wide open. The nannies should torque down the power, but before the tires even start to chirp I chicken out and let off. I have a hi way divide, speed limit around the curve is 45, and I'll hit 100 and the power still hasn't cut, so like I said I chicken out, every time and let off a little bit.

Sure gets the heart pumping.

I had a busy day & got all my notes done & still home by 4:00. That part I like but the mornings...................................not so much.

They have scheduled daddy's CT scan for Oct 14th. Guess we will have a better idea of his prognosis after we get the results from that.

Well now it seems the further existence of my department is questionable as of now. Here we go again.

The picnic was nice and we had as good of a time as possible. Only have one more day here to work, looking forward to going home.

How'd you do that? Cool though.

My sisters went by to see my dad. He was really bad. They tried to feed him & he kept coughing & getting choked & they could not keep him awake. They started some breathing treatments for him. They ran some more blood work & Jill got a copy of the report from his x-ray. It is really odd that he just had an x-ray a month ago & the "several lesions" in his mid lung (in addition to pneumonia and in different area of the lung) were totally not there a month ago. Jill said he was not talking to them but he said our mother's name which he has not done for a long time. They said he looked really bad in his face & his color. Just does not sound good. :(
