Am I the only one skeptical of the practicality of those two LED lights up top? It seems like they would just shine right onto the roof of the cab and not project much light down the road...

I'd probably do like Blue10 above did and stick a light bar in the lower grille and then turn those two little lights around to face backwards

Those rooftop lights seem to be RIGID brand lights and if they are you have no worries about getting light in front of the vehicle. I had a single set on my jeep and one light was enough to illuminate Hundreds of feet in front of me.

I'd like the bed bar that comes with it. Wonder if it can be purchased separately

GM seems to have hoarded all the best wheel designers in the biz.

It's kinda funny going back to the OP of this thread. Almost two years old.

Except for the whole no ZR2 thing. LOL.

They are neat little trucks though.

My company is now buying Colorado's , before Ive had S10, Tacoma and a Frontier over my 18 years.
The S10 /4.3 was the best power .
The Frontier was just junk , every thing, power (4 cylinder) Trans , interior. ..
The Tacoma was one of the best trucks I've drove , not much power (4cl cylinder) and thin body panels , but still the best of the bunch .
After 2k miles in my new Colorado, I've noticed some things.
IT IS TO DAMN TALL , I'm 6'2" and working out of the bed is hard . It is like they put on a lift kit then put on a low front spoiler on .
Good HP from its 4 cylinder.
It has a 2 squeaks and a rocking/loose driver seat .
And it is to TALL and no CD player :-(

I tried to get the state of Florida to buy Colorados.

It was explained to me that before recently, the state would basically dole out money to departments and say "Buy whatever you want as long as it isn't ridiculous." Which meant you could have your pick of work truck as long as you stayed within budget.

Now, they're standardizing the fleet...all work trucks will be F-150s, all sedans will be Impalas. :(

I brought up the diesel model too and that got shut down right away, even with the promise of better FE.

Finally saw an extended cab Colorado out in the wild. Looks like a great truck, just wish GM would make a ZR2 and add a manual across all platforms.
