Anyone got Nascar withdraws? - Page 2

I love NASCAR but at the same time the point system has gotten out of hand in my opinion. It changes so quick and so drastically you're kind of at the mercy of the media to know who is leading the points race. Despite my feelings on that I'll be at the Daytona 500 this year and I've already purchased my ticket for 2016 as well. I've met a few of the drivers like Tony Stewart. He was very nice but I'm pretty sure he liked my wife. Afterward she was talking about how he is cuter in person and "his car is faster than yours." So there's that. I've never met Dale Jr, my personal favorite.

I dont think Nascar is rigged in anyway but this new points setup sucks, Jr is my favorite too but im not sure how much longer he will be in the Nascar game unless its at a owner.

Too much gabbing now about a bunch of crap and then the same statistics over and over again. They are so busy trying to be entertaining that I see things happen then maybe two laps later they will make a comment about it and show a replay of it if we are lucky.

I think they need to split the races into a 2 race weekend.

Way too long and boring.

Every 500 miler except Daytona gets 250 Saturday and 250 Sunday.

Same for the 400 milers.

No repeat tracks and 1/3 of races on a roadcourse 1/3 on short tracks of 1m or less and the the last third on Super Speedways of 1.5m or bigger.

That should just about fix things

Im ready for the new season! The points are what they are. They do make it more entertaining even if your favorite driver is out of it. I am just ready for Daytona speedweeks to start.

I do think they need to cut down the miles on some of the races except not touching Daytona. Cut down the race miles and time will keep more watchers IMO.

They all play under the same rules every year so they all have the same chance at being champion. Execution has and always will be the key to winning. Harvick's team was best at that last year when they needed to be.
