plastidip anthracite mettalic on base wheels
taking a long trip so I want my base wheels/run flats instead of my street cray wheels/non RF tires, but wanted something diff - 4 coats of anthracite metallic and their glossifier - very happy with results:

That looks striking, Glen! A good match for Cyber Gray. Out of curiosity, how long did it take you to do all 4 wheels?

about 4 hours - taping off, cleaning wheels with acetone and tar remover, 4 coats on each wheel, 10 min apart, then a single coat of their gloss product..then opti coat on the barrels...
total cost = $50 - 3 cans of anthracite and 1 can of their "glossifer" DIY: wheel painting vids at dipyourcar.com |

That looks great........I've always just smeared Vaseline on the tire and then cleaned it off to keep the paint off.....those look great!
