The ZL-1s that come out do not want to run me in my 392. I cut a good light and they get nervous and always screw up what should be a win for them. So they just avoid me as much as possible. I don't think I am better than them I am maybe a better driver. The 392 challenger SRT-8 is a fast car off the show room floor. The Hell cat is a faster car off the show room floor.
I had the choice of a used 2009 Challenger SRT or a new, fully loaded MINI Cooper S. I had a long commute at the time and was offered better financing with the MINI. Financially, it was a wash (fuel costs included) but the Challenger's insufferably poor interior and lack of technology turned me off. I didn't get to test a Camaro and the Ford Mustang GT's motor felt too "peaky" to me (though still better than the mod motor).

I test drove a 2012 SRT recently and the interior was much improved. The 2015 interior's looks and layout, though, have hit a home run on my expectations. Just need to sit in one to confirm.

I will have to look into the Camaro more though, to give it a fair chance. Maybe visit a dealer tomorrow and take one for a spin. Probably just an SS though.

Face it boys, we loose on the drag strip. And remember, the charger is even faster. In their defense, Hellcat 1 you haven't been nearly as respect as you claim to be and you are playing in their world.
I said show respect and you will receive it show disrespect and you shall receive it. I am not always right but I try not to sling mud unless its called for. I don't play I will show respect when I receive it.

What about that magnetic suspension though? I've been a fan of that for a long time (at least in concept)

The 2015 challenger scat-pac is the better bang for the buck. It comes with the 485 HP 392 and the brembo brakes the 3 mode suspension a 8.4 inch touch screen and much more. It can be had for under $40,000 with nav and premium sound system and leather seating. I don't think you will find one in a show room before the end of august.

Yeah, like giving me crap when I'm on your side. You didn't need to quote the facts to me or whatever you claimed you were doing. I know the facts about those cars as well as anyone that isnt directly involved with them. I haven't seen you respect anyone here yet including people that are pulling for the hellcats. You have to earn respect and when you come on to a Camaro site to just strike up an argument you will get none. It's obvious what you are trying to do.

I love the suspension in the ZL1. It's the car's best attribute.

I am old and may have gotten screwed up and posted that under your post when I should have directed to some on else. I am not starting any arguments but I am replying to some who choose to be hard to get along first. So if I offended you I can tell you it was unintentional.

X100 without the MRC the ZL1 would have failed miserably, it's what makes the car a pure pleasure to drive...

Just FYI.......

The 15 Challenger Scat Pack doesnt come with 3 mode adjustable suspension. That comes on current SRT's only. It does has the 08-11 (SRT) performance (non-adjustable suspension). It also doesnt have several other options that are standard on the 15 SRT premium.

That and the fact it had more hp than ford or dodge when it was released in 2012...

That makes TWO cars in the hands of Joes and/or Josephines. Both Automatics, too.

Progress.
