I just saw one of those 80s Shelby Chargers yesterday but it was not blue with the silver stripe but all black but it still had all the other Charger unique features like different front end, the alloy wheels and the turbo 4.

I really liked the original 1999 concept. The rear quarter had the beloved 68-70 shape. It lost something going into production IMO.

Sure thing, some people on here are butthurt that Dodge is building a faster car than GM so they are coming up with every ricer argument you have ever heard to try and make themselves feel better.

Lol! Funny how many looks my Charger gets from people everyday, I've had more people comment on my Charger than any car I've ever had. From cops to the kids bus driver I have had people stop me just to tell me how good it looks. Granted I don't buy my cars for people to give me compliments but for just a V6 Charger it sure gets them! I love the lines on the nw 15 Mustang as well, just hoping Chevy brings out something better for the 6th gen that I can see out of. The new front end on the new Chargers needs some work but that is a pretty damn car right there! Sometimes we need to take off our brand loyalty glasses and acknowledge other makers.

I don't have any of those "brand loyalty" glasses, but that Hellcat, to me, is ugly. I don't like the front, I don't like the back. If I wanted a 4 door with some power to enjoy on the highway, I would get an SS or the new Ford, but not that. If I wanted a 2 door sport, the Viper on the other hand looks awesome and fun to drive.

For now, I will enjoy my 2010 5th gen, as I have not had any reason to get something 'different'.

I would take a fast ugly car over a pretty slow car any day. I would stick with Hellcat Charger over SS and certainly the SHO if those were my only choices. Although I also believe the charger looks much better than both too. Win win for me.

I think the current Charger is bad ass looking. The new one not so much.

I remember seeing this back in middle school and drooling over it. Shame there wasn't someone with enough sense to say, we need a 2 door Charger.
