Diesels run extremely high fuel pressures so I wouldn't be surprised.

Probably captured test fleet
Although for some reason I thought most of the early CTF vehicles were shipped via enclosed trailers instead of the normal ones.

Gasoline. Diesels have similar exhaust outlets as the HD trucks.

I hope they're on the way to the MPG testing facility.

Is that a window sticker on the passenger side or just a reflection?

Welcome to Common Rail Diesels. It is pretty easy to double the engine output on CR diesels. It usually just requires a reflash. Our blue truck is over 100k miles, mostly towing, with 502rwhp, stock engine and turbo. From the factory it was 245rwhp. Engine runs better than new.

Any guess to how big the gas tank is going to be? I hope 18 to 20 gallons so that if it does happen to get to that magical 30mpg mark we can go almost 600 miles on a tank of diesel.

My 2011 Colorado is 18 gal with a 4 banger that gets 22.5 mpg highway or less. I normally have to fill up after 380 miles or so.

Generally no need to ship via enclosed trailers. First reason is they've already been released to the public. Also keep in mind the intent in the early vehicles is to confirm all elements of production, including shipping to consumers. So there is learning go on right there in those pictures.
