First treatment yesterday. The people at the cancer center are wonderful. The treatment rooms are pleasant. I had a little garden outside my window and the sun was shining. The trip to Texas was a nice break and the FEST was fun. Thanks for all your Prayers.

Wishing you the best, Skip.

Did you compete in anything down there in TX?

Today ended up being much better than yesterday. Claire was able to do a little laundry and made dinner.

I'm still buried at work. I suppose that will be the new normal. But we only have one more day before the weekend!

Glad the first treatment went well Skipp. Sounds like you are keeping a good attitude & that will help a lot. More prayers to you.

Glad the wife continued to improve Rick.

We had a great turnout at our Cruise in/& concert - 22 cars. It was nice. I was totally beat when I got home. I posted a couple of pics via IPhone from there but was just too tired to post more after we got home. More tonight. Saturday we have our ladies cruise & tea room luncheon so there will be pics from that too. Here is a link to the thread from last evening:

It was a slow day in the office today. I finished posting the IPhone pics for last evening one at a time from my IPhone from work. I just painted my finger & toenails which I guess is proof that we girls wear makeup & such for each other & not for you guys. LOL. Tomorrow is the Music City Camaro club Ladies Cruise & Tea Room Luncheon. I am going to post up the rest of the pics from yesterday & go to sleep. Have a good weekend.

Props to you, Rick . . .

Last night was my oldest granddaughter's Junior Prom. Hard to believe how much time has gone by. Here she is with her Mom (son's ex). Those two clown around with each other mercilessly and one of them had just stuck her tongue out at the other one (and I have the proof ). I cropped as much as I could out of the background, it is what it is because fancy shoes on a muddy lawn wasn't gonna happen.

I hear she got in around 3-ish.

Well after much debating we have decided on our summer vacation for this year. We are going to Nashville during the second week in July. We went there for a day maybe 7 years ago and saw a few sites so now we can take our time and see a lot more and take in some of the music scene there. Janice do you have any suggestions on must see places? We will be bringing the truck and camping trailer and staying at a campground. They have a shuttle bus that you can take if you want to visit some of the bars. I may take advantage of that LOL.

Oh that is soooooooo cool! You will have fun. Lots of things to do. Let me know what you guys like. The Country Music Hall of fame has been expanded. There is music everywhere, depends on what you like. Tootsie's & all the honky tonks are all along Broadway. The New Music City Center always has something going on as do the many other venues around Nashville. We will definitely come up with a plan.

Threatening storms kept the Camaros home for our club ladies cruise today, but never fear, Mike acted as Chauffer in the Red Neck Limo for us ladies & we went anyway & had a good time. Here is a pic & link to the thread with more pics.
