Need advice on paint protection
Hi,it's my first post. Ordered one month ago C7,2lt,base car, crystal red, black interior,7speed,chrome wheels, performance exhaust, spoiler, body color dual roof. After a lot of research I decided to go with a 22ple coating with a sacraficial topcoat of wax but now I'm having some second thoughts. Mainly what does your car look like after 18 months when the coating starts to fail? Does it flake or peel off? How hard is it to remove and recoat it? Do you have a horrible looking mess on your hands? I don't want any bad surprises later. If not 22ple what should I use that has a proven record of protection and ease of upkeep. I just want to make the right decision and not screw up my new car. Thanks for any advice.

22ple will be fine, it wears away and can be taken off at anytime with a good orbital and polish. People think coatings are some thick thing like-plastic, they are microscopic coatings that you can barely see, and come off with polish

Simple application prep seems bout same. I would put this on the C7 once I have it home but im going with xpel paint protection film coverage on entire car. |
