Unhappy F40 Wrecked in Service Department Test Drive

The guy in the Dart probably has no clue as to what he did...

OMG! There is probably no way a Dart owner thought to have enough coverage for this.

The insurance up here is a bit different,the F40 owners insurance will pay to fix it and go after the Dodge owners insurance for repayment.

If the Dodge owner was drunk his car won't be covered but the F40 will be.

If its 50/50 at fault(left turn and running red) the insurance companies would split the costs.

The Dart driver is covered as long he had a valid policy and wasn't drunk and the F40 is covered even if the Dodge had no insurance or was drunk.

As someone said Gas Monkey has experience now

WOW that poor mechanic not his fault but you know he is going to get a lot o shit form the rest of the workers at the Ferrari dealer. He must have wanted to get out and strangle that idiot in the Dart.

That's pretty similar to how it would work here. However, if the Dart owner (assuming at fault party) only had a $50K policy and it took $100K to fix it, the insurance companies are just going to eat that; they are going after the owner of the Dart for the other $50K.

Ours doesn't work that way,you must carry a minimum liability of $500,000.00 in Ontario.

I carry $1m just to be safe.
