I kind of want to go see the movie again to see if I missed anyone else.



They've already confirmed that Zack Snyder (director), David S. Goyer (screenwriter), and Christopher Nolan (producer) will be returning for the sequel. And Goyer already signed a three film deal which included Man of Steel, its sequel and a Justice League film that included Superman.

It does seem weird to me that they wouldn't have Christian Bale reprise his version of Batman in the Justice League movie, though. It sounds like Warner Brothers wants to keep the two worlds separate even though they admit that technically they're existing in the same comic universe. It just seems like they're handicapping themselves...

You missed Tahmoh Penikett, who played Wes Keenan in I believe season 7 of Smallville. He was the first Air Force officer Lois met with when getting off the plane in Man of Steel. Played an old friend of Lois in Smallville who was turned into a super soldier.

And don't forget Lois Lane herself, Amy Adams was way back in a season 1 Smallville episode called "Craving" (girl on meteor rock enhanced diet that loses so much weight and is starving so bad she starts eating people lol, if that jogs your memory).

When Superman and Zod are fighting, you see a LexCorp truck and the LexCorp headquarters building. Less obvious is the brand on the satellite they hit while fighting: Wayne Enterprises. I assume this means a Justice League movie is coming and considering Chrisopher Nolan was the producer of Man of Steel, that really shouldn't be a surprise.

That was the rumored report of the Justice League forming. It all depended on the success of "Man of Steel". So now its closer to coming into fruition. We may see it as early as 2016-17.

I really doubt justice league is going to end up anywhere near as good as Avengers. Green Lantern fizzled. Think they're going to do an Aquaman movie? haha

Well, Marvel has Antman in the works. I can't think of a more silly hero than that.

I thought Man of Steel was great. Best Superman movie for sure. It's the gritty, tough, action packed superman that most have been waiting for. Agree it was a bit light on character development, but also think there were some great moments that showed some real emotion and vulnerability. The quick pacing left a bit to be desired, but I have a feeling that editing had to do with that. Hoping for an extended cut when released on DVD to see what was left on the cutting room floor to pare down the running time.

Not sure why some folks go around saying "this wasn't a Superman movie?". The silly, campy, Superman of the 80's isn't what people want today. Not to mention, this 1st movie was more of an origin story. We'll see the Clark Kent Reporter/Superman alter egos in the next movie. Hoping they use the sequel to explore the residual effects of all that happened in Man of Steel as well.

Funny that most people never had a problem with all the CGI and destruction/fatalities in Avengers, but it's an issue here.

Now back to searching for superman camaro ideas.

I'm hoping that the next one will have an ending that will make people gasp. for me it would be amazing to see a huge tv on the news watching Superman save the day and the camera turns and its a man with dark hair and very expensive clothing. some other guy walks in and say's "sir, wathching the news are we?" and the man in the chair says "Yes, Alfred... it has captured my attention."

I liked Green Lantern, especially the ending with Sinestro putting on the yellow ring and getting the Yellow Lantern Corps uniform.

Makes me wonder if the JL movie will use the Darkest Night storyline. That would totally poop on any sucky Marvel movies!
