The VFs have manuals in them. Just certify them for the US and call it a day.
If we were talking a Malibu then sure, there's no point in offering a manual. But I'm guessing the majority of people who want an SS know how to drive a manual.

I like it, it's a good looking car overall.

I was hoping the refresh would address those god awful tail lights, but still one of the ugliest ass ends on a car. Other than that I think it looks incredible. Front end to me looks fantastic, as well as the rest of the body and the interior looks reall good too. But those tail lights are still as awful as the last ones.

Taillights could use a redesign, I agree.

i like it, didn't really see anything wrong in with the exterior in the first place, but this is an improvement anyways. really curious how the other updates will shape up and how much of an improvement they will provide.

Powertrain updates are pretty great, especially upping the torque output in the 2.0T and milking 35 MPG out of the 2.5L, plus adding start/stop tech which will do wonders in real-world city driving.
Interior updates are all right for a rushed MCE, the dash still needs some work and GM did what they could with the rear seat given the EpII wheelbase. I'm a little surprised by the exterior update since all indications pointed to Impala, but I'm actually glad they didn't go that route. I wish they could've done something with the rear fascia and added LED DRLs but overall, given the amount of time they had to get this done, it's a pretty good job.

And it's ridiculous how much better the LTZ headlights are over the LS/LT units.

Yeah, its really the only flaw I see in design IMO. If I was looking at a midsize car, the Malibu would be up on my list, but those tail lights really could have used some work IMO. The rest of this car is just flows so well IMO then you get to the ass end and

Yeah, o so close! Well maybe a test drive could sway you to overlook that option you're looking for. None the less, it'll be a cool test drive! ![]() Reggie B. Chevrolet Customer Care

I thought the last Malibu was a decent looker in certain trims, although the rear end leaves something to be desired.
But this car looks absolutely fantastic. The changes in design are subtle, but effective! I'm digging it and with the engine improvements in power and economy, not to mention suspension revisions...I'd really consider this car if I was in the market. I'm really surprised they didn't do much at all, if anything to the rear as that seemed to be one of the main complaints. I think it has potential to be cool with a slight redesign there, but I couldn't really tell you were to go with it. Overall, really like this car. This or a Fusion.....hrrmmmm...without knowing all the specs and pricing off the top of my head, makes for a hard choice.
