And I'm working on vacation strategy. For me to make it work, I'll have to take portions of two weeks, which "the supervisors " don't like.

Belated Happy Birthday, Mr Green

I don't usually get too personal on here, but I'm gonna let you in on my last 36 hrs or so.....

I'm doing paperwork at about noon, getting ready to go to work. My son calls. He never calls, he ALWAYS texts. Tells me his son fell out of a 2nd story window and has a fractured skull, that he's conscious and talking but they're medevac'ing him to the childrens hospital in the city.

Cut to the good news, there's no bleeding or swelling in the area of the fracture, and he's clear eyed and speaking properly, all good signs. They released him from the hospital and he's back home where he belongs.

God is good.

Anyways, thought I'd share with you one of my worst days ever, and one of my best days ever..... all in the same day.

Wow, that is scary stuff. Sorry he and all of you had to go through that but very glad he seems to have not suffered worse injuries. I hope he continues to recover nicely.

Good morning crew. I need to catch up on my sleep! Chilly morning here. I am hoping for a better day today & hope all my 'ol fart friends have a good day too. Back to my coffee now.

Oh my gosh Mike. Glad everything is looking good. Sending good vibrations your way.

4:30 this morning I'm awakened by a migraine. I got up, went into the bathroom and find I'm out of Maxalt (great stuff for migraines). I can hardly see cause the bathroom light is making my brain twist around in it's socket like that doll's head on that horror movie (I can't remeber it's name cause my head is disintegrating slowly). So I looked for an old cache of Imitrex. Yes! There are two syringes of it left. But then I had to read the instructions on how to load the injection device. Read! Are you kidding me? My eyes are burning right out of my skull. My brain is starting to expand causing my skull to crack from the inside out, and I have to READ!

Thank goodness for Imitrex. I'm alive again. My gray matter is back inside where it belongs, and it's no longer planning a painful escape. Gotta go see the doc about getting some more Maxalt.

Oh man, Twisty! That is so scary. I am so glad it's as okay as it can be after a traumatic experience such as that. All the best to you and your family!

I would appear that the creative writing classes are working!

All you left out was a bottle of scotch in a desk drawer, the butt end of a '45, and a dame walking into the office with trouble written all over her....

Good morning everyone!

Hoping for the best Mr. Twisty.

We're almost at the weekend. We can make it.

It's actually heating up here. Going up to 104*! Mornings are in the high 70's.

Thanks ya'll

He was a real trooper, earned his 'Boy Card' before his 4th birthday I guess we could all tell stories about crazy stuff that happened to us as children, reminded me of the time I popped a wheelie on my bicycle, fell off the back, and knocked myself out cold on the concrete road.

Jay, try morphine, it sure helped his pain
