Sonic inferno

I saw a new Sonic yesterday and the paint looked a lot like my Camaro . I just went on their website and sure enough it was Inferno Orange . That sucks ! I hate seeing econo boxes painted like my car . I also noticed the extra cost was only $195. It doesnt cost less to paint the Sonic , so why screw Camaro buyers ?

Less paint equals less money.....

You'll probably find the same exact colors scattered throughout all models...not uncommon...only "unique" color I've noticed so far is on the 45th Anniversary cars...
...but even that color will probably surface on something else pretty soon...

Carbon flash metallic was not even unique to the camaro then. The color was also found on the corvette in the same year.

I have painted over 200 cars . The difference in the cost of paint would be minimal . They dont pay much for the paint anyway . Remember this cost is above the cost for std colors .

I dont get why your mad that a mass produced car has a similar color as another mass produced car. If u want something that no one else has get a custom paint job or some airbrushing on ur car. Not trying to be mean but its the reality of running a company. Carbon flash metallic looks eerily familar to the caddys thunder chromflare paint imo.

Incidentally, my kid really wants to get a new Sonic (Inferno Orange, in fact...lol..)....It will "match" my Inferno orange interior and stripes...all good...all fun...

That's funny because the Chevy Colorado has been available in Inferno Orange since at least 2010-2011. I don't see anything wrong with other cars being painted a certain color as long as the color does justice for the car.

Carbon Flash is also the same color as Black Granite Met,which has been available on the Malibu,Silverado,Traverse,etc.,as well as other GM models such as the Acadia.

Yep,even before then,a buddy of mine has an '08 GMC Canyon in Inferno Orange.
