I've read most of this thread and from what I'm reading, I would just bet that there is more to this story than what we're getting from the OP. I really don't know what you are trying to accomplish by starting this thread and continuing to bury yourself with just about every post you make here ,but I wouldn't be looking for any acknowledgement at all from GM let along a public apology. I would say that you did something that you shouldn't have, you thought you were invincible because of moms power, you found out that she wasn't as powerful as you thought and you got canned. Now GM is the devil and you want the world to know. Sorry but that's just how I see it.

All this is really sad. But, something else is really sad too. I had heard stories about how many of the GM line workers were drunk back in the late '60's and '70's and had hoped that this was a thing of the past. I also wondered if GM moved it's assembly plant to Canada to get away from this kind of problem.

From your info, though, it seems that it is still a problem. This is sad. If anyone wants to get an idea of why SO MANY jobs are moving overseas, of why this country is in so much touble with trade deficit and mounting debt, of why the foreign car rmakers have had so much success in this country, this is certainly one reason.

Why can't more Americans (North Americans) be thankful for their jobs and keep clean and take pride in their work?

Very sad...

everything you post on the internet can and will be used against you someday,,, Facebook is costing people their jobs everyday just for posting stupid stuff about their job or other employees

My mother was retired the whole time I was in the car plant. So, no I did not, not did I ever feel invincible. It was actually quite the opposite.

What am I trying to accomplish? Nothing. I am finally able to let off some steam and explain the situation that quite a few had a idea on. But not the full aspect of the scenario.

Explain how I am digging myself deeper? I do not work for Gm anymore. I haven't since last March of 2011. I work for a huge aviation company now. Who appreciate my skills. Who I don't have to create customer appreciation for. Their product speaks for itself.

I have enjoyed my time here and I look forward to helping out camaro owners with their problems. And any other vehicle they have actually.
